Meet Senovia a.k.a. Shell

My name is Senovia Banks, also known as "Shell". I'm a mother of 3 beautiful children. My oldest daughter recently retired as US Army veteran. My middle daughter is serving in the US Air Force. I'm so proud of both of their accomplishments as young ladies. My youngest is my son who is a growing respectful teenager that I dearly love. I’m an assistant manager on Fort Moore Army Base, formerly known as Ft. Benning.

I have over 16 years experience in management. In 2021, my first cousin, Yakeisha persuaded me to loc my hair. It has been one of the best decision for my hair and freedom to get up and go about my day.  After 6 months into my own loc journey, Yakeisha insisted that I take the plunge to become a microlocs practitioner. She expressed to me in dere need that the demand of services were overwhelming and her business was continously growing out of hand. After several rejections of her advances for me to join her with serving clients and potential new clients, she won me over and the rest is history!  

It’s been a year and half now with LocHerRoom and I’m loving it. From my past experience with doing my girls natural hair contributes to my styling and beautifying women in their loc journey. The smile I put on my client's face brings me joy and make me go harder for them. I’m  so thankful for  being apart of their life making them smile and be free. Thanks to my cousin-sister for supporting me to step out in faith and become more than I can ever dream to impact other women in their loc journey.
